The spire rises above the old streets with a silhouette quite unlike La Redonda's twin towers. Follow its octagonal form upwards to the pyramidal roof before approaching the church. Inside, Arnao de Bruselas's altarpiece rewards attention when visiting arrangements allow. Compare shapes and building traditions, while respecting worship and closed rooms. The view from the street remains worthwhile even without entering.

Plan this visit

Distinguish spire and bell tower

The municipal description differentiates the octagonal lantern above the nave from the corner bell tower. We suggest locating both before examining their details. Although they share the skyline, they are not identical parts and do not perform the same function in the building.

Choose a second reading

If access is possible, look at how the relationship between light and height changes from street to interior. The cloister is another space with its own arrangements: its survival does not guarantee opening at every hour. Check visitable areas and decide whether to extend the stop or retain the exterior comparison with other central churches.
