La Mitjana riverside park

La Mitjana replaces façades with riverside woodland around the Segre. Plan it as a nature outing separate from the monument circuit, with time to walk slowly and listen before looking for birds. Keep to marked routes and avoid disturbing wildlife. Check municipal access notices, particularly after rain or during risk alerts; surfaces and conditions vary between paths, so choose your route accordingly.

Plan this visit

Choose a path before entering

The municipal leaflet distinguishes general routes and an adapted itinerary, with the main entrance from Pardinyes. We suggest selecting according to your needs rather than treating the whole park as one equivalent trail. An adapted-route label does not automatically describe every path or access condition on the day.

Observe without chasing a species

Alternate woodland, water and an observation point while following signs. Pause to listen before seeking birds, and stay on the path rather than pursuing a photograph. Set return and duration before extending towards the Camí Natural del Riu; consult municipal notices because riverside conditions can change after weather events. Keep wildlife observation within the marked visitor areas.
