Getting around Alicante

Arrival, local transport and practical connections in Alicante.

From the airport

Bus C6 links the terminal with Alicante. Check stops for your direction: the return route differs. For an onward TRAM journey, check the connection at Luceros.

Arriving by train

Alicante-Terminal station is at Avenida de Salamanca, 1. Choose your onward route according to luggage and slopes. Check Adif before arranging pickup: construction has temporarily changed parking access.

TRAM and buses

TRAM d’Alacant connects Alicante with various coastal destinations. Check the line and changes for your destination, together with service notices. For city districts and the airport, check the relevant buses.

Castle and city centre

Santa Bárbara is on a hill: check lift times and conditions or prepare for the walk uphill. Santa Cruz has steps and slopes. The Explanada and harbour offer a simpler seafront section.

Tabarca: the departure port matters

Distinguish boats from Alicante from departures in Santa Pola and other towns. Check boarding, return times and sea conditions on your booking. Reaching Santa Pola by road is an additional journey.
